Katie Craymer was born in England and moved to America at the age of ten. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts with Distinction from the School of Art Institute of Chicago. Katie creates alter-ego personalities to portray her life experiences and harmonize her love of fashion and performance art.

After studying fashion design, Katie became entranced by machine knitting and is currently selling knitwear garments alongside her practice of performance art. The theatrical and colorful nature of both her designs and characters allow an escape from the everyday, and highlights pride and fluidity in one's identity.

She describes her garments as soft armor that give power and comfort to the wearer, so that when they go through their day they feel truly fantastic.
